Changing the World is no small work. A lot of people want to change the world but don’t have a pretty good idea of how to do it; It’s one of the reasons this blog was created.
We sometimes feel that the best way to change the world is to take a very big step. So we look for opportunities to be like Ghandi, Late Nelson Mandela, Abraham Lincoln and other heroes but the truth is that small steps or actions can change the World and this is where the “The Story of Stuff Project” comes in.
I watched one of their videos ” The Story of Solutions” which you can see above. One thing they are doing which is great is that they are focusing on educating the public rather than fighting Corporate bodies. They believe that when people are aware of how their environment is being affected by products like cosmetics or electronics, they would  swing into action.
Now they are not trying to get rid of inventions or make us go back to the prehistoric age, but rather they are trying to make us innovate. They are reaching out to the people, the government and Corporations. Their message is that everyone should innovate in a way that would make our world safe and it’s not just the duty of the people but our government, policy makers, institutional regulators, inventors, designers and entrepreneurs.
